Beef Tallow is the rendered beef fat, often taken from the fatty tissue around the cows' kidneys and lions.

Tallow is an animal product and because of this, it's easier for our skin to recognize than most plant products. The chemical makeup of high-quality grass-fed beef tallow is similar to our own DNA.

For this reason, it can help heal wounds and reverse skin damage.

Tallow is rich in Vitamins A, D, E and K.

Vitamin A Improves skin color, flexibility and wrinkles a natural retinol.

Vitamin D is beneficial to your skin as it has antimicrobial properties that can help reduce inflammatory symptoms of acne.

Vitamin E an antioxidant, combats free radicals like premature aging and dark spots.

Vitamin K used to combat acne scars, wound healing and rosacea.

Beef Tallow is made from beef, so it does have a mild animal smell, over time the smell tends to weaken. People with sensitive noses will smell it more. Our products are formulated with essential oils which help mask the scent.

Tallow is good for all skin types and sensitive skin, if there are fragrances added your skin may have a reaction, I always suggest doing a spot test on sensitive areas and if you have a reaction stop use.

Tallow is best kept out of direct sunlight, at room temperature.

Tallow can become grainy due to temperature sensitivity. It is very easy to fix, you can boil up some water in a doble boiler or bowl place you jar or mixture into the bowl and reheat. The mixture will melt after it has melted whisk a little and pour into jar to reset. The grainy texture wont change the benefits of the tallow and will still go on smoothly.
